Understanding the Mystery of Doors, Hardware, and Codes

 

Presented by Wendell Poore with ASSA ABLOY

 

A comprehensive educational program focused on building codes as they relate to doors and hardware.  After completion of this course, participants will be able to: 1) Know how to add clients’ security concerns into specifications; 2) Make proper choices in selecting doors, frames, and hardware that comply with current building codes; 3) Specify hardware that meets building codes, life safety codes, and fire door requirements; and 4) Understand the importance of balancing life safety vs. security in the built environment.

 

Continuing Education: 1 AIA/CES LU Hour (HSW), 1 PDH, 1 CEH, 0.1 CEU

 

 

Amounts listed above include a transaction fee of $1.00 for Meal & Seminar reservations or $0.75 for Seminar-only reservations.
